Buyer Requirements:

 – Buyers should be aware, knowlegable, and prepared  for all relevant import regulations and requirements at their final destination port. 

 – All required paperwork should be in order prior to arrival at destination port, such as proper consignee documentation and proof of valid business registeration(with verified consigness recipient address) , up-to-date phytosanitary licenses and certifications, plus all completed food safety procedural requirements/paperwork.

 – Basic shipping documents should be kept well-organized, readily available and on-hand, such as: Bill of lading, commerical invoice, packing list, import license, certificate of orgin, customs declarations, ect. 

 – Knowlege of safe transportation methods and adequate storage conditions for each specific product or cultivar handled is also very important, as to aviod any unecessary bad fortune or unsafe conditions.

Buyer Responsibilities:

 – Buyers should transfer all payments in a timmely manner, in accordance with agreed upon timelines. Including the complete/full payment amounts specified on final proforma invoice.

 – Any desired changes or alterations to a products unit price should be proposed and agreed upon previously ahead of time, prior to the issuing of final proforma invoice. As market price fluctuations at recipient destinations are the responsibility of the purchasing party, and not a responsibility of the manufacturing party. 

 – Buyers should be alert and knowledgeable of any previously outstanding  port authority fees or fines (due by their organization), which may require immediate settlement prior to the discharge of incoming container loads. (as any outstanding port authority balances may interfere with retrieval of incoming container-loads)

Buyer Conduct:

 – Buyers shoud conduct business ethically and lawfully without  any malicious, decieftful, misleading, or otherwise harmful  behavior.

 – Buyers should comply with all relevant laws and regulations governing the import and distribution of supplied products in the destination country.

Buyer Communication:

 – Communicate with a respectable level of honesty and transparency;  providing accurate information about the intended trajectory of required products and the true extend of expected future demands. 

 – Coordinate effectively regarding important  market data relevant to market trends, product demand, and competition.

 – Proactively communicate any new upcoming/relevant regulatory changes or requirements imposed by reciepient destinations governing authorities (which may potentially impact or alter a suppliers required preparatory export procedures).
